Layer Abstract
The mosaic of the Great Lakes
Watershed is composed of 82 Landsat MSS
images acquired between June 1 and September
15 from 1985 to 1987. It is 7921 pixels by
7201 lines and contains 4 bands of data. The
geographic boundaries are: 400- 520N
(latitude) and 950-730 W (longitude), with
sampling intervals of 6 seconds (latitude)
and 10 seconds (longitude). Individual files
that were used to complete the mosaic are
also available. These files are
geometrically and radiometrically corrected
and are reprojected into latitude and
longitude co-ordinates. The images are
1098 pixels by 1364 lines and contain 4
bands of data. The *.scd file contains
information for the north-west corner of the
image as well as the sampling intervals.
The *.zip files contains both the image
(*.pim) and header file.
